Leah Waldo, aka Sweet Bea,
fell in love with baking at an early age. Her fondest memories begin
with her mother making her famous chocolate chip cookies. Her sisters
and she would sit on the counter top, waiting for their mother to turn
her back so they could sneek a "taste test".
Leah has made cakes for
weddings, birthday parties, holiday events, you name it. Her most recent
creation was a decadent chocolate cake with alternating layers of
summer berry compote and cream filling and a bourbon-vanilla bean
buttercream. She loves to create delicious cakes, each one special and
unique. She loves blending new flavors and putting her own little twist
on the classics to create cakes that match her clients' personalities.
All of her cakes are truly homemade as they are baked right from her
sunshine yellow kitchen in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.
